Nizuri Natural Hair Festival

The Nizuri Natural Hair, Health and Makeup Festival is the “largest African-American holiday shopping festival in the USA”, notes Naturalhairfestival.com. The co-founders Leola and Tessy Anifowoshe started the expo in 2009, and have totaled over 20,000 attendees within their 5-year run. Aside from showcasing natural hair stylists, the Houston, Texas festival is like no other, with its signature Top Chef food competition and the Battle of The Brushes makeup artist contest.

The International Natural Hair Meetup Day (INHMD)

The INHMD allows women, bloggers and vloggers to host a one-day event in their communities to network and meet up fans, followers and fellow peers alike. The meet-ups happen across the country and in Amsterdam, where hosts can learn how to plan and execute natural hair events, women can meet their favorite beauty bloggers and influencers and everyone can take away a bit of hair and beauty inspiration from one another.
